Her heart is in community music, and she is passionate about the immense value that comes from people making noise together—especially adults who come to, or return to, music-making as grown-ups.</p> <p>In addition to teaching guitar and voice privately, Sue directs two non-auditioned community choirs: Choir CHORDillera, an 80-member mixed-voice choir, and Wolf Willow Women’s Voices, a new 40-voice ensemble that keeps growing. She is also the force behind Pub Choir in Canmore—a quarterly excuse for people to get together, have a beer, and sing along to songs they know and love. Sue firmly believes that shared music-making experiences are powerful in community building.</p>
